Limpsfield Parish councillor, Ashley Fosdike has embarked on her own crafty little business. The Green Room studio in Ashley’s back garden (just off the A25) is the perfect setting for small groups to while away a few hours creating and painting under Ashley’s expert tuition.

Pinos del Valle is one of the most popular villages in the Lecrin Valley. Perched up high on the Monte Chinchirina to the south of the Valley, it has spectacular views back down towards Lake Beznar and the rest of the Lecrin Valley villages as well as up towards Granada and to the Sierra Nevada.

When I was a little girl, I spent a lot of time at Tenchleys Manor, the then home of one of my childhood friends, Alexia.  I lived in a fairly old house myself on Trevereux Hill, but was in awe of the size, age and history of this ancient Manor House. It seemed enormous and spooky to me, then. It’s still huge of course, but not quite as spooky…at least during the day;) 

We have another lovely shop opening in Limpsfield next month! Judie Sherriff, owner of Meldon House & Home (currently at The Old Dairy opposite the Everyman Cinema in Oxted) is opening a specialist shop,  Time 2 Paint @ Meldon House that will focus on her decorative paint business as official Surrey stockist for Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan.

Recently we got to immerse ourselves in the lovely world of Julie Bliss, of Bliss Interiors. As an architectural designer, she is responsible for the design, styling and successful planning applications of many of the beautifully renovated houses in Limpsfield and the surrounding area.
